Inspiron B130 Graphic Driver

If it is shot, does the whole motherboard need to be replaced or only graphics card? So I know its not a driver issue. When the monitor flickers during driver install the line sometimes disappears for a few seconds.

Long story short, I had to replace the system board and it fixed the problem. Try searching through Google or on eBay. Any suggestions as to what my problem is? Is this likely to be a cost efficient repair? How do you diagonize whether it is the lcd screen or the digitizer that has gone?

Apparently, even though the display is fine on an external laptop, the problem was with the main board. It works great when connected to a desktop monitor. The Nvidia chip is getting extremely hot burnt my finger twice and if I spray liquid ice on it, the pixel trash immediately goes away. The final step would be replacing the motherboard, nothing else left.

This sounds to me like a problem with the screen. Here are two more screens. In this example, the vertical lines were caused by a failed video memory on the system board. If you decide to replace the system board yourself then the final cost might vary.

Could be loose video cable. There were a lot of vertical lines, and they were changing color without any pattern. When you unplug the video cable from the motherboard, take a look inside the connector.

There two things you can do. If you can see the same pink tint on the external monitor, then it could be related to the motherboard video card. Is there an inexpensive fix?

The color is faded or washed-out. Even though video on the external screen is fine, it still can be a problem with the video card motherboard. Images and the screen are perfect on an external monitor. If external video is fine, you might have a problem with the laptop screen.

When I touch these attached cables, screen remains correct but some colors may disapear. The problem also occurs in bios. Yes, I have it plugged into an external monitor and it works fine that wat. When I powered up the notebook, with the display in my hands, I found that the screen was blank, just the backlight was on. So far, this seems to be the best place to look for answers!

Glyn, Make sure to install a correct video driver. So I pulled the charger back out and the screen was still black. We looked on ebay but they are all expensive. Kay, You can transfer the digitizer to a new screen. But the reddish video appeared again as soon as I replaced the screen.

Its just everythig on the laptop is messed up. Do I need to replace the screen, or is there a way to fix it. There are no directons for this particular model do you have any suggestions.

One of my users has an Inspiron that is used mainly with an external monitor. If the graphics card is integrated into the motherboard, then it becomes the motherboard problem. On the other hand, dell 2214h driver I found a used graphics card for Latitude C on eBay.
